Capital Campaign
We are fortunate to have this beautiful new facility in our community. If you take a moment to look at the Y's Capital Campaign donor board displayed on the wall in our lobby you will see that over 600 donors helped to pay for the bricks and mortar that we enjoy today. Thank you to all of you who helped in that Capital Campaign.
If you have any questions regarding our Capital Campaign, please contact Mark at 626-3488 or mark@kvymca.org.
Endowment
The KV YMCA Board of Directors has established an Endowment Committee to create an Endowment Fund that will assure the long term stability of your YMCA. Mike Seitzinger & John Bridge are Co-Chairs of the Committee. "We had a kick-off event in June, 2009 and we will be asking for your support." A healthy endowment will allow us to continue to operate successfully at our Manchester and Augusta Campuses and position us to provide long term YMCA experiences for the youth and families that need it the most.
In short, an endowment is money that is set aside with the understanding that just the interest earned on the money will be used to advance YMCA programs and activities. For example, a $1 million endowment might generate $30,000 annually that could be used toward support of the KV YMCA. Donations to the endowment can be as little as a few thousand dollars to as much as the donor would like to give.
The Heritage Society has been created for our endowment.
If you have any questions regarding the endowment, please contact Mark at 626-3488 or mark@kvymca.org.
