Vacation Fun Days

December 22, 23, 24 (half day), 29, 30, 31 (half day), Jan 2nd

Vacation fun days are open to children, grades K-6. Fun activities include:

  • Swimming
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Games
  • Fitness Activites
  • Outside Play
  • Sports

Members: $30 per day

Program Members: $ 35 per day

Non-Members: $40 per day

Julia Clukey's Camp for Girls

Olympian Julia Clukey is from Augusta, Maine, and she is a member of the U.S. National Luge team. She competed in the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver and plans to compete in the 2014 in Sochi, Russia. She loves luge, and she loves giving back to her community.

The camp takes place at Camp KV, a state-licensed day camp. The camp is for girls grades 4-8, and is located on Maranacook Lake in Readfield, Maine. The camp offers traditional activites, such as swimming, boating, arts and crafts, nature hikes and more. It also features field sports, archery, and valuable time with Olympian Julia Clukey. In a noncempetitive, nurturing environment focusing on on character development, the girls will build self-confidence, friendships and positive camp experiences. 

Deadlines:

  • April 30th All scholarship applications must be submitted
  • May 31st All scholarship awarded and delivered
  • June 10th $100 non-refundable deposits due to reserve child's spot at camp

Rates include a nutritious lunch, drinks and snack, a water bottle, and a t-shirt!

Camp KV for Kids

Camp KV is a state-licensed co-ed day camp located on beautiful, naturally preserved land on Maranacook Lake in Readfield, Maine. Boasting 23 acres, campers will enjoy days filled with traditional camp activites such as:

  • Swimming
  • Boating
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Nature Hikes and Activities
  • Archery
  • Field Sports

All activites reinforce the Y's core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility with the help of guest speakers and special guests all summer long!

Campers should bring:

  • Backpacks
  • Sunscreen
  • One-piece bathing suit
  • Towels
  • Sweatshirt

All camper items should be clearly marked with their name on all belongings. No open-toed sandals or shoes, please. We do not permit the use of cell phones or other electronic devices, but a camp phone is available for emergencies.

Session are broken into one-week programs. An optional sleepover will happen on Thursday of each session, followed by a half day of camp on Friday.
