Kennebec Valley YMCA 2010 Strong Kids Campaign
We are reaching out to our membership in a new creative way this year as we carry out our 2010 Strong Kids Campaign. This is because, you our members, realize better than anyone else, the importance the YMCA plays in your everyday life. You also realize that the mission of the y is that no child is ever denied access to the Y because of inability to pay. Strong Kids need your help.
We are asking your permission to draft you on to our Draft Board...this means you allow us to add a monthly amount to your existing commitment (your membership dues) and you become part of our team and get a charitable deduction for your pledge. Please consider this:
$2/month or $24/year..........less than $.50 a week
$3/month or $36/year..........less than $.10 a day
$4/month or $48/year..........Change...for $1 a week
$5/month or $60/year..........2 drive-thru coffees a month
$6/month or $72/year..........All In for Strong Kids
Once you become a member of the Draft Board you will receive a sticker that states "I've Been Drafted" (for your "gym bag") and your name is also placed on the wall showing that you've joined the Draft Board.
Our campaign goal this year is $135,000. Strong Kids need us and we need you!
